I don't think BetterDisplay stopped supporting higher refresh rates - do you have this working without the app running? If not, then the issue might be a cable/bandwidth problem (I assume you use 3840x1600 in LoDPI). |

I have the same monitor, 120 Hz and 144 Hz are available/working. |

Thanks both. I'm going to try a different cable to see if it makes a difference. @CleanCodeDeveloper fonts look good for me with HiDPI. That's one of the reasons why I use BetterDisplay. |

I have had an LG 38WN95C-W UltraWide monitor for about 6 years: https://www.lg.com/uk/monitors/ultrawide/38wn95c-w/
It goes up to 3840x1600, 144 Hz on DisplayPort or Thunderbolt. I have my Mac connected via Thunderbolt.
Unfortunately at some point BetterDisplay stopped supporting refresh rates higher than 144 Hz. It used to do just fine, and in fact on Linux it works at those rates out of the box via DisplayPort.
I'm not sure what changed or when but if I can provide any more information please let me know!
