Shine Monitor integration for Home Assistant. This integration allows you to monitor your solar power productiona and environmental impact using Shine Monitor.

- Download the
shine_monitorfolder from this repository. - Copy the
shine_monitorfolder to your Home Assistant'scustom_componentsdirectory. - Restart Home Assistant.d
- Ensure that HACS is installed.
- Go to HACS > Integrations.
- Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select "Custom repositories".
- Add the repository URL:
https://github.com/pranjaljain0/shine_monitorand select the category as "Integration". - Click "Add".
- Find and install the "Shine Monitor" integration.
- Restart Home Assistant.
- Go to Configuration > Integrations.
- Click on "Add Integration" and search for "Shine Monitor".
- Follow the setup instructions to authenticate and select your plant.
Before getting the data, you need to fill in the following fields:
username: Your Shine Monitor username.password: Your Shine Monitor password.company_id: Your company ID.
- Open your web browser and go to your Shine Monitor login page.
- Open the developer tools (usually by pressing
F12orCtrl+Shift+I). - Go to the "Network" tab.
- Log in to your Shine Monitor account.
- Look for the authentication request sent to
*.shinemonitor.com. - The
company_idwill be included in the authentication request.
