File Name

Properties entered into these textboxes will override the original file names.

 

Modify

Remove

Remove Characters

Removes the characters entered from all words.

Remove Words

Removes whole words, but not parts of words. Such as entering the will remove the but not part of the word theme.

Remove Range

Remove characters within these range of characters.

Range: [ and ]

Before: Example - 01 - The Episode Name [012345].mp4

After: Example - 01 - The Episode Name.mp4

 

Replace

Replace Characters

Replace the characters entered in all words.

Replace Words

Replace whole words, but not parts of words. Such as entering test will replace test but not part of the word testing.

Replace Spaces

Replace all spaces with character(s) entered.

 

Filters

Detect

Auto Title

Will fill in the Title textbox automatically if detected.

Example - 01 - The Episode Name.mp4

Title: Example

Auto Year

Will fill in the Year textbox automatically if detected.

Example - (2018) - S01E01 - The Episode Name.mp4

Year: 2018

Auto Season

Will fill in the Seaon textbox automatically if Number is detected.

Example - S01E01 - The Episode Name.mp4

Season: 1

Keep

Episode Name

Extracts and uses the episode name if found.

Example - 01 - The Episode Name - (1080p) [HEVC].mp4

Name: The Episode Name

Title Case

Capitalizes the beginning of each word if lowercase.

example - 01 - the episode name.mp4

Name: The Episode Name

Hyphens

Keep hyphenated-words when removing dashes.

Before: Example - 01 - The - Episode-Name.mp4

After: Example 01 The Episode-Name

 

Remove

Episode Numbering

Removes non-standard and leftover episode numbering, such as 01, 001, E01, EP01.

Before: Example S01E01 01 The Episode Name.mp4

After: Example S01E01 The Episode Name.mp4

Year

Removes year in parentheses (2018).

Spacing - Period, Underscore, Dash

Replaces periods ., underscores _, and dashes - with spaces.

Before:
Example.S01E01.The.Episode.Name.mp4
Example_S01E01_The_Episode_Name.mp4
Example-S01E01-The-Episode-Name.mp4

After:
Example S01E01 The Episode Name.mp4

Dashes Between Words

Removes dashes between whole words.
Not the same as Dash Spacing, which will remove dashes between all characters.

Before: Example - S01E01 - The Episode Name.mp4

After: Example S01E01 The Episode Name.mp4
