The removed @typescript-eslint packages (eslint-plugin 8.52.0, parser 8.52.0, project-service 8.52.0) all had an explicit peer dependency upper bound of "typescript": ">=4.8.4 <6.0.0", which is why they're being replaced by the 8.57.x versions that drop that constraint. This is the right approach, but the diff doesn't show whether a tsc --noEmit or full build was run against the TypeScript 6 compiler to validate that the existing source code is free of newly introduced errors — TypeScript 6 contains breaking changes (e.g., stricter strictNullChecks behavior, module resolution changes, removed legacy APIs) that could silently break type-checking without surfacing in package-lock.json alone. It would be worth confirming that tsconfig.json settings remain compatible and that the CI pipeline runs a type-check step against the updated compiler before merging. If the project relies on moduleResolution: "node" (which was deprecated and may be removed or erroring in TS6), that's a concrete place to verify.
