Download the latest Windows installer or ZIP file. The file usually ends with .exe or .zip.
If you download a ZIP file:
- Extract it by right-clicking the file and selecting "Extract All."
- Choose an easy-to-remember location such as your desktop or "Documents."
If you downloaded an .exe file:
- Double-click the file to start the installation.
- Follow the prompts on the screen. Click “Next” or “Install” as needed.
- When finished, you should see a shortcut on your desktop or Start menu.
If you downloaded a ZIP file:
- Open the folder where you extracted it.
- Find the application file (usually
.exe). - Double-click to run it directly.
The app works best with text files containing your product requirements. Prepare files in .txt or .md format.
Place your files in a folder you can access easily.
- Launch requirements-skill from your desktop or Start menu.
- Use the "Open" menu option to browse and select your requirements files.
- The app will analyze the text and highlight conflicts, changes, and example stories.
The app scans your requirements for conflicts such as contradictory statements or overlapping features.
Conflicts appear highlighted in red. Hover your mouse over the highlighted areas for more information.
When you update your requirement files, the app compares versions and extracts change logs.
You will see summaries of what was added, removed, or edited. This helps keep track of project updates.
The software provides sample user stories that match common SaaS scenarios.
You can select and insert these stories into your documents to clarify requirements.
- If the app does not start after installation, check if your Windows is up to date.
