Foundry

Foundry is a blazing fast, portable and modular toolkit for Ethereum application development written in Rust.

Foundry consists of:

• Forge: Ethereum testing framework (like Truffle, Hardhat and DappTools).
• Cast: Swiss army knife for interacting with EVM smart contracts, sending transactions and getting chain data.
• Anvil: Local Ethereum node, akin to Ganache, Hardhat Network.
• Chisel: Fast, utilitarian, and verbose solidity REPL.

Environment Setup

Copy the example environment file and update it with your values:

cp example.env .env

Deploy

Deploy BLSSigCheckOperatorStateRetriever

To deploy the BLSSigCheckOperatorStateRetriever contract:

$ forge script script/DeployBLSSigCheck.s.sol:DeployBLSSigCheckScript --rpc-url <your_rpc_url> --private-key <your_private_key> --broadcast

This will deploy the BLSSigCheckOperatorStateRetriever contract and output its deployed address.

Environment Variables

Before deploying, make sure to set the REGISTRY_COORDINATOR_ADDRESS environment variable in your .env file.

Deploy Counter

To deploy the Counter contract:

$ forge script script/Counter.s.sol:CounterScript --rpc-url <your_rpc_url> --private-key <your_private_key> --broadcast

Cast

$ cast <subcommand>

$ forge --help
$ anvil --help
