Failure to install provateGPT

By now I have made four attempts to install privateGPT on my macbook air. The most recent attempt involved the following steps:

1. ran 'git clone https://github.com/imartinez/privateGPT.git' in the terminal
2. used 'cd privateGPT' to move to the appropriate folder
3. used 'python3 -m venv venv' successfully
4. activated the repository using 'source venv/bin/activate'. This was also successful
5. used 'pip install -r requirements.txt' and the whole thing fell over
   Copilot suggested that I search the repository as the txt file may be stored elsewhere within the same repository but no trace of the text file was found. I had the same issue with a previous attempt but in this case I was able to find a copy if the txt file elsewhere within the repository and once I copied it into the correct folder it worked correctly. However further down the line it fell over again and I had to abandon the installation.
   Am I the only one having those problems or is GitHub making fools of us?
