K8S : Script is shutting Down

Hey ,

I followed above steps : https://docs.ycrash.io/yc-360/kubernetes/deployment-options/run-as-sidecar-container.html

Everything seems to run fine , but the script always finish as completed

It looks like a normal behaviour when looking at the code. But I find it weird.

My pod always crash because of the sidecar container restarting always. It also always report an incident in the dashboard at startup. So I have an incident every minute.

Is that normal ? Shouldn't the script keep running and wait for an event ? What Did I do wrong ?

Hi,

The yc-360-script has a few modes of operation: On-demand, Only-capture and M3.

In On-demand mode, it runs once, captures all the metrics, transmits them to the yc-server and then exits.

In Only-capture mode, it performs the same task until all metrics are captured but doesn’t transmit them to the server. Instead, it creates a compressed file called the bundle-upload file which can be downloaded and uploaded later as needed.

In M3 mode, the yc-360-script runs continuously in the background, scanning for any anomalies in the application and reporting them as detected. This is the recommended mode for containerised environments that run as sidecars.

Yeah actually the mode I need is M3 for kubernetes and it is almost the only mode working for K8S,

But unfortunately , its is not included in the Free Trial period.
