Can't set 180 rotation for virtual screens #5157

|
Hi, I’m unable to rotate my simulated displays to 180°. When BetterDisplay extends the simulated monitors, macOS System Settings no longer shows any rotation option for those displays. There is simply no rotation control available. As a result, my monitors are physically mounted upside down on their stands, and since I cannot set 180° rotation, everything stays inverted. The only workaround is to close BetterDisplay completely. Inside BetterDisplay, I’ve already tried: There is no place where I can explicitly set 180° rotation. This seems like a very basic monitor feature, but I can’t find it anywhere when using simulated extended displays. Is 180° rotation supported for simulated displays? Thanks. |

Virtual screens are just virtual, so it makes no sense to rotate them as they don't exist in the physical world. If you mirror the virtual screen to an other (target) display, you should rotate that target display. If you stream the virtual screen to an other display, use the stream menu's rotation options. |

@waydabber, i agree that rotating the virtual display don't seen to make sense.
