Sure, but how things work and look like is a matter of personal preference. :) You can turn off animations under Settings > Menu > Additional > App menu transition animation speed (set it to zero) and can also change how the menu looks like and behaves there (for example some like to turn off "expanding menu items" to have a more traditional pop-up like submenu system). The current style is a result of a long iteration and various requests, I have no plans to fundamentally change this any time soon. My feeling is that the menu may indeed be unnecessarily sluggish on Intel+Tahoe (but what's not sluggish on Intel+Tahoe? - the same menu just feels much more responsive on Intel+Sequoia or earlier). |

In my humble opinion there is some space to refactor the interface of that slow and heavy menu. I'm not sure should I explain the issue further, as it is obviously to me. Maybe someone else thinks similar. I'd see this great app faster and better guys.
