The app interface renovation (UI/UX)

In my humble opinion there is some space to refactor the interface of that slow and heavy menu. I'm not sure should I explain the issue further, as it is obviously to me. Maybe someone else thinks similar. I'd see this great app faster and better guys.

Sure, but how things work and look like is a matter of personal preference. :) You can turn off animations under Settings > Menu > Additional > App menu transition animation speed (set it to zero) and can also change how the menu looks like and behaves there (for example some like to turn off "expanding menu items" to have a more traditional pop-up like submenu system). The current style is a result of a long iteration and various requests, I have no plans to fundamentally change this any time soon. My feeling is that the menu may indeed be unnecessarily sluggish on Intel+Tahoe (but what's not sluggish on Intel+Tahoe? - the same menu just feels much more responsive on Intel+Sequoia or earlier).

Thanks for the response. I'm on my M3 Pro + Tahoe here, and it's the most sluggish app menu I ever seen to be honest... It feels hugely overloaded, maybe some heavy framework there 🤷‍♂️

The app uses standard Cocoa and SwiftUI stuff (no third party frameworks, all custom coded) and animates everything with a default of 0.2sec animation speed (can be changed or turned off). It should not be sluggish/slow on an M3 Pro, but I am not sure what sluggish means for you - whether it's just the normal animations (the app should be about the interaction level of the Control Center - it takes time with animations to properly show stuff) or there is an extra issue or bug there. I'd say if you feel it's the most sluggish app you have seen ever, that does not feel right.

This is how it looks like at my end with default settings. I understand how this might feel slow to some (due to the animations), but I am not sure whether sluggish is the right term. :)

Can you confirm this is how it looks at your end? If not, can you make a video so I see the issue?
