I am not sure. Do you have Auto Brightness enabled? That could be a reason. With this display the app uses Apple's brightness control (as the display is natively supported by macOS). |

Interestingly, auto-brightness was off before, and now that I've turned it on in the macOS settings (whether BetterDisplay's "native auto brightness management" on or off doesn't seem to matter), it seems to fix this issue. For now, I'll try leaving the macOS setting on and see if the issue continues to stay resolved. I can follow up if the issue re-appears with this turned on 👍🏽. |

On my LG UltraFine 5K monitor w/ Macbook M2 Pro, when my computer goes to sleep, my brightness will noticeably dim by maybe ~10-20% even though the setting is still set to 100% in BetterDisplay. I then need to manually slightly decrease and then re-increase my brightness for this issue to resolve and get back to my display's actual max brightness.
I have tried to turn on the "reinitialise display on wake up" and "reinitialise display on unlock" settings, but this doesn't resolve the issue.
What could be causing the issue and what is the fix?
