Does this project support plain diff?

The default diff format shows the +/- under the character, and does the project support the plain diff format, just like the git diff?

The --only-edits and --edit-digest features are intended to provide a more succinct diff similar to git diff, but it's not in fact canonical unified diff format.

The reason that Graphtage doesn't support a standard diff format is because most diff tools like git do a line-by-line diff, while Graphtage does a byte-by-byte diff. If only one byte in a line differs, the diff output might look a bit nonsensical to a human.

Do you have a specific use case in which git diff format would be necessary? If so, I can add adding support for unified diff format to the Graphtage roadmap.

If I don't mistake it, the git diff is also the gnu diff, and there would be more libs to process it, which is more convenient :)
