Sparkle 2.14.2 quarantined by Windows Defender

Downloaded the latest Sparkle from the website - https://getsparkle.net/
Tried to install and Windows Defender flagged as a virus. Have never had this happen before when I was installing. I know that the installation adds an exception to Defender for the Sparkle folder in users\username\AppData\Local, but this is new. Is there a problem with the file?

I believe the issue is sparkle used to be very big and therefore windows defender could not scan it but it's much smaller now and defender can scan it and due to the nature of the app like running powershell commands it thinks sparkle may be malware. Don't worry this is a false positive.

I figured, or at least was hoping anyway, that it was a false positive. After you replied I downloaded it and it wasn't pegged as a virus and wasn't quarantined. Must have been a fluke on my end or something. Just decided to use PowerShell to install it from now on. Thanks for getting back with me.
