Dual Display's Not Working

Hello, I came across this thread and I don't actually have this exact computer but have a custom instead but I didn't know where to post. I was wondering if you could help with my setup. Basically, everything is working except when I try to connect a Display Port to HDMI port cable to my second monitor, the second one just doesn't work at all. My EFI file is below, please let me know if there is anything I can do to fix this?

So first of all I do not anymore update this repository. I have written a new guide here

So I checked your EFI. Is this for Majave or High Sierra? What are your hardware specs? I have seen some older kexts in Other directory and your SMBIOS is set to iMac6,1. Also do you have an external GPU?

So regarding your dual monitor problem. This is a really known issue with Intel HD530, HD630 IGPUs. Do both monitors when connected one at a time work on all ports with or without the DP2HDMI cable?

What does it mean does not work at all? For me in order to work I have to have:

1. Advanced > Option ROM Launch Policy > Configure Option ROM Launch Policy > All UEI on BIOS
2. agdpmod=vit9696 on the clover boot args which is an option to WhateverGreen.kext that disables the AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy as described here
3. Finally I have made some patches in PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0) (initially written a binary patch on the framebuffer) but then used this excellent Hackingtool. Every different motherboard has a different way of doing things. I suggest you follow This amazing thread to figure out how to patch your computer for multi monitor support.

So let me sum up: Make sure 1 is checked on your BIOS (do not worry if you do not have something like this). Use 2 in your boot arguments (check also WhaeverGreen for additional document) more more documentation. The same effect as agdpmod=vit9696 has agdpmod=pikera. However agdpmod=pikera is not working for me). Finally goto 3 and patch your framebuffer accordingly to support two monitors.

Unfortunately there is no one solution for everyone.

Yea, I tried following all the steps, now it seems that my HDMI port is not working, but my display port one is. I have a Asus B250M - C with an an i5 6600k. Any other thoughts or possibilities? While trying to get the Framebuffer right, on one instance the second monitor would be active, but it would just be a black screen but now it just does not detect any type of input and turns itself off.

Since I do not have the specific motherboard it is quite difficult to know what is going on. Try posting in the Graphics thread or General Framebuffer Patching Guide using Hackintool in tonymacx86. I really think that it is a matter of doing the framebuffer patching right.

Dear sakoula, Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to create this Hackintosh resource. I have been striving for the past 3 weeks to get a dual monitor setup on my Hackintosh that has the Intel HD530 graphics card. Using the agdpmod=vit9696 boot args finally caused both monitors to light up. I am sure you are familiar with the frustration that getting everything to work takes, and the utter relief/joy when it finally does! So I just wanted to let you know that I am grateful for your creating this resource. Cheers!
