Hi! I’m using rpi-usb-gadget-driver-setup.exe from this repo to onboard Windows users quickly.
GitHub
I’d like to create an alternate installer build that changes only the UI/look & feel (frameless, custom buttons/hover effects), while keeping all driver contents, INF/CAT, terms/license text, and behavior unchanged.
Key points:
No driver/INF logic changes; only installer presentation.
I will keep Apache-2.0 compliance (LICENSE/NOTICE included, changes clearly marked).
I will avoid implying this is an official Raspberry Pi release and will add an “Unofficial UI wrapper” attribution.
Before publishing anything, I can send the modified build to you for review.
If you prefer, I can share a UI template so you can apply the look on your side (no need to hand over extra source beyond what’s already in the repo).
Could you confirm this is OK, and share any branding/trademark guidelines you want me to follow?
Thanks!
