Boot time higher by 0.5 secs due to initramfs overhead.

Need to further to dig inside the initramfs.
Unable to instrument the initramfs code. Please share steps for the same.

Systemd should start much sooner and not block for ~1 sec as below.

Please always describe the image you are testing with, comparison with previous runs (if you believe this is a regression) and so, there is not a lot of data here.

This seems to be a delay when initializing systemd, and for that we need to debug systemd itself, check https://systemd.io/DEBUGGING/
