Simple plain text fields and image field converting into array automatically

Description

I have several fields on a page, but some fields are simple plain text fields or single image type but after adding data and fetching it is returning the text field as an array and the image does not get saved. I am facing this issue again and again when creating any fields.
I have shared a preview of the field data by printing on screen, the fields printed are simple plain text field, url field with no format, image field with single image, but it is converting all into array
