Describe your problem

It seems as though some Kratos users are interested in support for a CAPTCHA-like system as part of the login process, but previous issues have been closed since no good solutions were found (see for example #138 (comment))

Describe your ideal solution

Altcha offers an open source library which looks like it could be a good fit for integration with Kratos.

Workarounds or alternatives

Alternatively, a self-hosted, standalone Altcha instance could be deployed, and custom modifications could be made to the UI to render the web component on the login page. However, it would be more tricky to effectively block the login, given that there would have to be coordination between the Altcha server and Kratos.
