[STUDIO UI]: Custom bundles

Do you think that Studio UI is mature enough to start migrating your existing bundles that are in ExtJS?

I won't open a separate discussion as I think the question fits well here:

I have not found any information about how / where the data model is maintained. Is this already possible with Pimcore 12 and Pimcore Studio or do I still need ExtJS / Classic Admin UI? I didn't see anything about this in the demo.

What about the ExtJS licence - one-time and unlimited per production environment or per system? What about dev systems?

@BerndDultinger thanks. But what is already possible with Studio UI and what will be? Will it be a full replacement when stable is released? To be honest, I currently want to avoid paying licence fees for ExtJS if the desired functionalities are included in Studio UI.

@jensschaerer The editor view for data objects is already available in Pimcore Studio. However, Object Class modeling is still handled in the classic admin. This functionality will be migrated to Pimcore Studio after Pimcore Documents, planned for Autumn 2025.

@jensschaerer, just a quick reminder: we're in a continuous and steady upgrade phase. Pimcore Classic Admin and Pimcore Studio run in parallel, so any new Data Object Classes you create in Classic will automatically be supported and rendered correctly in Studio. You're always safe—everything stays in sync as you work.
