Please share the most glaring issues that need to be fixed

I haven't been following issues on the MkDocs tracker, but just ran into this super glaring issue:

• mkdocs does not watch for file changes when using click>8.2.1 mkdocs/mkdocs#4032

Are there any other such huge issues that are the highest priority to fix?

Most of the issues that seemed critical are related to clicks and live loading.

• Python 3.14 tests added to the matrix
• Broken CI, which this fork has also inherited
• All of these security issues reported by pip-audit

I didn't have my venv enabled when I ran pip-audit, so those were my own global packages. Disregard!

It can be used that way for now:

mkdocs serve --livereload

I thought, can this command be wrapped in a properdocs directive? This way we can use it directly

I already fixed that bug and there is nothing to do, everything works if you just use this:

properdocs serve
