Trouble onboarding the Church Apps systems #600
-
|
Hey there, I'm having some trouble onboarding the Church Apps platform. I've registered to the CHMUS platform but I'm unable to add people to the system. I've also tried to login into the B1.App but I get the following error message:
Using the emails [email protected] to onboard but having a hard time. Any ideas? |

For adding people to your church, Chums is the right platform to be in rather than B1. When you navigate to "People" in Chums, there should be an Add Person button in top right corner in that light blue header. Is the button missing or does an error occur after clicking it? |

Hi @jzongker Well, I thought that I needed to add people first through CHUMS and then it would work on B1 but I can't add anyone on CHUMS, I'm not sure why. I've added a screen recording so you see what I mean. It's as if the "Add Person" button is disabled, and yet I'm the admin. Screen.Recording.2025-08-09.at.13.15.58.mov |

The email address of to*******[email protected] is the account with Domain Admin permissions, rather than the one shown in the video. I believe if you log into Chums with it, you'll have the ability to edit users. It is confusing having the add user and search buttons on accounts without permissions to use them. I'll add a new issue to show an error message instead when there is a permissions issue. |

Yes, absolutely. Log in with your personal account, then go Settings->Domain Admins and add the BBMC Media account to that group. Next time you log in with that account you'll have full admin access.
