This issue appears obsolete under the current build configuration.

Verified locally with:

• ./gradlew :abcvlib:compileDebugJavaWithJavac

Result:

• the build passed
• the previous warnings about source value 8 is obsolete / target value 8 is obsolete did not appear

The current repo build logic is already on Java/Kotlin 17, so there is no remaining source/target 8 warning to fix.

Closing as already resolved by the current build configuration.
