GTKSourceView triggers Inkscape rebuild

It seems that that the GTKSourceView module can result in the rebuilding of inkscape. That's a bit of a biggie. So, like, sure, I can disable GTKSourceView. I don't think I'm using it, anyway. But I do want to throw this discussion in here.

Perhaps it should be disabled by default?

In a non-exhaustive research session I couldn't find a way to specify a style directory at runtime.
