Most Relevant Authors after merge gives incorrect data

I wanted to see the Most Relevant Authors after merging Scopus and Web of Science BibTeX files.

208 full web-sci.bib.txt

242 scopus.bib.txt

I imported both bib files one-by-one and exported them into excel format. Then I merged them together.

Bibliometrix is changing the authors' name, only keeping the family name and the first letter of the given name.
I get that Li X and Li Y have 6-6 papers:

Who is Li X and Li Y? They are 12 different people. And each of them have 1 paper:

If I import the 2 BibTeX files with Zotero into a collection, merge the duplicates and then I export the collection into a RIS file and open that in VOS Viewer then I get the correctly merged list:

I would expect Bibliometrix to correctly merge the authors because it has the same data available.

Hi,
Full author names are stored in the column AF. You can rename it as AU (replacing the existing contents of the AU column).
In this way, bibliometrix will use full names instead of Surnames and initials.

Thanks. Yes, I tried modifying the excel files after export, and also after merge I had to modify the file. Then I got this result:

This gives the same result as VOS Viewer. But when I click Table and then Show all rows then Dávid Lóránt Dénes has only 1 paper instead of 3. There is another record with Dávid Lóránt with 1 paper and there is a David with 1 paper. I can see "A", "B" and "H" as authors, only one letter. And there are lot of given names only, like "Noel", "Nicoleta", "Philip", etc. So, something is not OK, the results are not good.

If you use Biblioshiny for your analysis, you can directly set the author name format in the DATA menu when importing.

Yes, at importing I always select Fullname, but when I export, there is no such option and I have to fix the excel file manually. Also, I need to modify the excel file what I get after merge. And at the end, the data still has errors.

After exporting, I copy the AU column data to the AU_IN column (need to do this for both files).
After merging, I copy the AU_IN column data to the AU column.
