Feature request: Auto-hide animation

Would it be possible to add a transition animation when the widget changes its state from active to hidden?

Instead of disappearing, making the widgets around instantly move to fill the gap, it would progressively reduce its width to make the transition feel smoother and less abrupt.

Should be possible, but will need to be handled carefully as the bars value of cava depends on the parent height/width and won't look smooth if cava needs to be restarted during the size changes.
