Problems selecting Drives for Backups

Describe the bug

I would like to see 👀 the actual names of my drives that I named.
All of my drives are of the same brand make and model.
So I don't know which drive is which, because the actual NAMES of the drives I placed,
does not show up in the list.
For example: it only shows:
Samsung SSD 9100 Pro
Samsung SSD 9100 Pro
Samsung SSD 9100 Pro
Samsung SSD 9100 Pro

How do I know which drive is what? 🤷‍♀️
I don't know which drive is the boot, Home, Steam or Data drives because it won't show
the names I assigned to the drives.

System:

• Linux Distribution Name and Version: [Debian v13.3]
• Desktop: [KDE Plasma v6.3.6]
• Timeshift Version: [v24.06.6] "no newer versions seen when doing updates"
• Timeshift Mode [rsync]:
• Display Server: [wayland]
• Formats of Drives: [btrfs]

with "name" you mean "filesystem label"?
or something like mount point?

Also btrfs snapshots can currently only be saved on the device that the snapshot is taken from. This is a limitation of the way timeshift currently handles this.

I think you are at the wrong issue here.
This issue is about drives not being differentiable because their name is not shown.

Please be more specific what your issue is.
Reading your quite short description i have many questions about your situation. Please answer (some of) them, when creating a new issue or commenting on an existing one.

• Does timeshift show the drive?
• Does timeshift not let you select it?
• You can select it, but it failes to snapshot or to store the config?
• Does timeshift work with a different drive (the same or another one)?
• Does timeshift work in btrfs mode?
• Does timeshift show any kind of error?
• What os, WM, timeshift version are you using?

i probably misunderstood this issue, my issue is that i cannot select to backup one drive to another. btrfs mode is greyed out, timeshift works fine
