Drag only in one direction

It will be a great usability improvement if the dragging can only be in one direction, to help the user understand the mental model of the window opening/closing, e.g. the user taps on a button and an Activity slides in from the bottom, then she expects to drag only down to dismiss it

Is this already possible in some hidden setting or could it be added?
