Feature: Configurable output mode switching (limit/filter modes)

Problem

When using BT2USB with multiple consoles (e.g. PS3 and Xbox 360), switching between output modes requires connecting to PC, pressing the button three times to get back to SInput mode, then switching via web config. The double-press mode cycle goes through all modes, including ones the user never needs.

Proposed Solution

Allow users to configure which output modes are active/available in the mode cycle. For example, if a user only uses PS3 and Xbox 360, the button cycle would toggle between just those two:
PS3 → Xbox 360 → PS3 → Xbox 360

Implementation Ideas

1. Web config option — Add a setting in the web config to enable/disable specific output modes from the button cycle
2. Hardware switch support — Allow mode selection via a physical switch/toggle (mentioned by menu in Discord as a nice-to-have)

Context

• Discussed in Discord #joypad-ideas (March 9-10, 2026)
• Robert confirmed this is feasible and has been considering adding it to web config
• Hardware switch option also noted as not too hard to add
