Have you turned off the "baseline renormalization" ? I found in the past that it can mask effects from the neurons in the PING rhythm ... maybe also tag the appropriate people for the calcium density because they may not be following the discussion board! |

Hello all,
We are running a study, manipulating the values for calcium density and decay within both the soma and dendrites of the L5 cells using HNN. We have run 1600 trials (8x8x8x8) after increasing the calcium values in increments up to 150% of their default values in the downloadable parameter files, which produce the PING rhythm. However, we have unexpectedly noticed that the waveform is not changing across any of these trials. So I'm asking should the simulation be calling these parameters, or does it need some extra input for them to take effect?
Thanks.
