Installation script fails

When I try to install the latest dev release via apt on my Pi 4, the installation scripts fails with the following message:
preinst: 13: [: hyperion@pi.service: unexpected operator

There is no use for the template.
The update scripts fails during this update:

Can you just remove the existing version

curl -sSL https://releases.hyperion-project.org/install | bash -s -- --remove --verbose

and then install the nightly again

curl -sSL https://releases.hyperion-project.org/install | bash -s -- --nightly --verbose
