Render Unity UI on top of WebView

Hi,

This plugin is an amazing work but I have one problem. I try to show my Unity UI buttons over native WebView by enabling the option "Render over native UI" and they show, for sure, but I cannot interact with them. The webview is stretched to the whole screen (margin 0, 0, 0, 0) so am I right that it still intercepts clicks events on the whole screen despite the UI being visible? Is there a way to solve my issue? Any help will be appreciated.

This topic was discussed before and there was an experimental implementation #584 . As noted in the discussion, it is difficult to support any interaction with WebView, unfortunately.

Thank you for your reply. Do you plan to update #584 with latest fixes and updates from the main branch? In my case no user interaction with WebView is required as all interaction will be handled by Unity UI. But the experimental implementation currently contains some critical bugs (like #785).
