Thank you for maintaining this invaluable resource for the Muslim community. We are building Zad (getzad.fr), a French-language Islamic web application, and we plan to use your API as the primary source for our hadith library.
Before integrating the French editions (fra-bukhari, fra-muslim, fra-nawawi, fra-ibnmajah, fra-nasai, fra-malik, fra-qudsi), we have two important questions regarding scholarly credibility:
- Translation source — Who translated the French editions? The author field is currently "Unknown" for all French editions. Can you identify the translator(s) or the publication from which these translations were taken?
- Arabic textual reference — Which Arabic edition or manuscript was used as the source for the Arabic text (ara-bukhari, ara-muslim, etc.)? For example, is it based on the Fath Al-Bari edition, the Dar Tawq al-Najah edition, or another reference?
This information is essential for us to properly attribute the content and ensure the scholarly integrity of our platform for French-speaking Muslims.
JazakAllahu khairan for your work.
