caps-word not working in certain apps

caps-word appears to be broken in every app that kanata-vk-agent is monitoring, but works as expected in other apps not listed in the configuration.

Just an updated. I have tested this with the current kanata 1.9.0 using Karabiner-VirtualHIDDevice-Manager.app v.5.0.0, as well as the kanata prerelease, using Karabiner-VirtualHIDDevice-Manager.app v6.4.0. Not sure if this is also related to jtroo/kanata#1823 and psych3r/driverkit#10.

It would be great to see if this could be tested by others.
