pygdal installation failure

The README.md file mention to install the (optional) pygdal library.
However, the instructions provided in the README do not work on LUMI correctly:

I've removed this line from the documentation as I think it's no longer needed both on ATOS and elsewhere. If this solves the issue, and nothing further is needed, please close this issue
