Stremio support? #35

Thanks for asking! Right now I don’t have any plans for native Stremio support, and to be honest it’s pretty unlikely that I’ll add it. The long version is: CrossWatch is built around sources that expose a clear API or webhook-ish (scrobble) behavior that a separate service can safely consume (Plex, Emby/Jellyfin, Trakt, Simkl, etc.). Stremio’s ecosystem is centered on addons that Stremio itself calls, and there isn’t a nice, documented way for an external app like CrossWatch to just “listen in” on what you’re watching or periodically pull a clean history. To support Stremio properly I’d have to maintain a custom addon and start relying on implementation details that can change. For your setup specifically: the best workaround today is usually to let Stremio scrobble to Trakt directly or use something like SyncriBullet for SIMKL tracking, and then let CrossWatch pick up everything from Trakt or SIMKL together with other providers. It’s not as “native” as a first-class Stremio integration, but it gets you roughly the same end result. Never say never, but it’s not on the roadmap at the moment. |

I’m not sure what all the possibilities are. There are so many add-ons for Stremio that it’s probably best to see what fits your needs. In the end I’m not the best person to ask, to be honest. I don’t really know enough about Stremio. Sorry. |

Hi,
Firstly want to say the app looks phenomenal.
I was just curious to know if there were any plans for Stremio support? I watch my media on both Plex and Stremio and use different apps to sync to trakt and simkl.
If you came up with support for stremio it'd be greatly appreciated by the huge stremio community.
Thanks!
