openHAB time out error, what's wrong?

Following steps in the below URL, I have successfully installed OpenHAB thru Multipass:
https://ubuntu.com/appliance/openhab/vm

Then I run "multipass list" and find the ip address of openhab is: 10.16.247.217

Try accessing openhab from another PC in the same LAN by entering below URL in Firefox:
http://10.16.247.217:9090
-> but get the error after waiting for about maybe 10-15secs:
The connection has timed out
The server at 10.16.247.217 is taking too long to respond.

So what is missing and get the time out error?
