signing failed for RSA

I am trying to configure tergent on a new phone but I am running into a problem with RSA key (I need RSA for a connection to openwrt router which uses dropbear and the latter does not support edcsa). I get an error message
sign_and_send_pubkey signing failed for RSA "my_key_alias": agent refused operation

For reference: an RSA key does work on my old phone

Any ideas on how to fix it? Is anything misconfigured?

Looks like tergent worked for you, you were able to start it.
I'm trying to run it but immediately found problem with null pointer and socket that is probably inaccessible.

May I ask which version of Android you use?

Android 15 and 16 for sure. But I probably installed it first in Pixel 8 with Android 14, I do not remember exactly.
