Broken navigation on back

1. Scroll the mason view a bit
2. click on a pic from mason view
3. click on the author of the pic
4. do browser back
5. we can’t go to previous status any more
6. back again
7. we are at the top of the mason view

I don’t know if that’s intended but I feel the UX is not very fluid in this scenario :)

I’m unable to confirm this (I’ve tried with Safari and Chrome on macOS and Safari on iPad).

I’m following the exact same steps:

1. I’m on my private timeline.
2. I scroll down a bit.
3. I click on the photo, and the status details are opened.
4. I click on the author, and the user profile is opened.
5. I click the browser back button, and the status details are opened again.
6. I click the browser back button again, and the timeline is opened, showing the same view as in step 2, with the status details scrolled down.

Please provide more information, such as the browser you’re using. You can also try using a different browser or operating system.

Ok I made a mistake, between 5. and 6. I tried to go to previous status. Sometimes it doesn’t work (arrows are showing, then disappear once I tried hitting right arrow) and then go do 6 and I’m on top of Timeline.

I need to figure out which conditions are needed to be stuck on one status once back from author’s profile

1. scroll timeline
2. click a status
3. navigate 1 status at a time in status view
4. click on author’s profile to follow him/her and check previous work
5. go back to status view
6. can’t resume the navigation, has to go back -> bug 1
7. timeline is at the start -> bug 2
