A humble request, from a webhost user

Many people out there use web hosts, because of lack of knowledge on how to self host, convenience, extra benefits or lack of money to immediately buy their own equipment.

This means majority of people only have access to php and mysql.

I know its basically impossible to make anubis run under just php alone, I know cloudflare exists,etc, but those hosts will limit CPU time(or make it shared) and that means malicious crawler bots have a very easy time taking/slowing them down for everyone else.

Would it be possible to make a "light php anubis" of sorts? More limited and simpler yes, but good enough to help with the problem?

That would be a different product. I've been working on ideas for this but have nothing to announce at this time. Sorry, I'm not a PHP developer.
