Version 1.0 of an ontoterminology that models events of the Hellenistic World (323–31 BC).

This period spans from the death of Alexander the Great to the Battle of Actium, covering the Wars of the Successors, the establishment of the Hellenistic Kingdoms and Dynasties, and the growing Roman influence in the Mediterranean.

The ontology includes the most important agents (persons) of the time, linked with the events that shaped history, and further connects them with their primary sources and the authors who chronicled them.

Software Environment

This dataset was built with Tedi ontoTerminology Editor, a software platform for the creation and management of ontoterminologies.
