Possible to script each playing side to have different effects?

Is there a variable in Psych Online that be used to detect if the user if playing on Dad/Boyfriend side online/offline?

Example (I believe this works for the "Play As Opponent" option in the Gameplay Modifiers tab for offline, but I don't think it works the same in an online room):
if getPropertyFromClass('PlayState','opponentMode') then
-- Opponent exclusive code here
else
-- Player exclusive code here
end
