Edit existing drawings

Would it be possible to have the ability to edit a saved drawing?

Scenario.
Zoom on the map and make a drawing then save it.
Move the map so only half the previous drawing is visible.
Add more drawings to the new view (This works), but you cant erase anything from the previous drawing.
