How to currently format Palette #58

Hi, currently the documentation is a bit confusing for end users like myself where value fields are quite hard to ascertain on a per tag basis. I'm currently using TMP for lyric creations and was curious as to how to correctly use
As far as I understand, it is meant to be an array like so: <palette color[#FF00FF,#00FF00, etc]>TEXT but I am unable to get this working, it just defaults to a rainbow.
Is there something I'm using incorrectly here or missing?
