KIC Partials Entities not available

Problem Statement

According to the documentation, the KIC allows the Partial entity to configure redis connection accross multiple plugins : Kong Partials documentation

Unfortunatly I cannot find any CRDs available / code supporting this feature.

Proposed Solution

• Implement the partials attribute in KongPlugin & KongClusterPlugin
• Allow to reference Partial through name instead of uid (random uid is not easily guessable)

• [] as a user I can configure redis connection through the Partial entity coming from deck or K8S
• [] as a user I can create Partial manifest in the cluster

Hi @victordrnd 👋

KIC is no longer receiving new features. All the new development is happening in KO that's why I moved this issue.

This will be looked at by the team and PM to correctly prioritize work on it. I can't promise anything w.r.t timelines though.
