icons showing as boxes

On fresh 3.2 install, the icons are not shown. looks like the font for the icons is missing?
Any clue?

Check you have the fontawesome files in the fonts directory (cf. https://github.com/FabriceSalvaire/redmine-improved-theme/tree/master/fonts)

Turn on the console log in your browser to catch relevant errors.

Note: I updated the installation steps (images was missing)

You have to copy the images directory as explained in the (fixed) installation procedure (I forgotten this step).

ok did that. The red errors about the images disapeared but the others are still there:

After I donwloaded fonts manually and replaced themit works. Also then I recognized most of the font files I got via git had only 1 kb.

Note: files in fonts are links to ../vendor/fontawesome/fonts/... It could the issue.
