Heating water and nitrogen under presssure using CoolProp property package
To Reproduce
PLEASE ATTACH THE ZIPPED FLOWSHEET FILE and/or inform the steps to reproduce the behavior:
- In my case, I had 300kg/hr water, 77kg/hr Nitrogen as input to a flow stream
- CoolProp property package
- System pressure set to 90bar
- Complete a sensitivity analysis, from 20 to 350Celcius
Expected behavior
A consistent change in vapour enthalpy, which is then used in the total system enthalpy
Observed behaviour has a nice consistent trend up to 200C, then a major discontinuity occurs.
Vapour mass flow is nice and consistent:
LIquid enthalpy shows consistent trend also:
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- OS: Windows 11
- 9.0.5
