AC- VSC- DC modelling with variable DC load in ANDES

Hello,

I want to model an AC grid connected to a DC grid through a VSC in ANDES. On the DC side, there are PV, battery, and a time-varying DC load.

Since ANDES does not seem to have a native DC PQ load,
what is the recommended way to model a variable DC load (e.g., via VSC DC-side power control or ESD1)?

If possible, could you please share a simple example of an AC–VSC–DC system?
