Getting Error 71 When Trying to Launch Neohtop

Hello, I'm running EndeavourOS with Swaywm and trying to use neohtop but when I try to launch it I get this error message: "Gdk-Message: 12:45:50.911: Error 71 (Protocol error) dispatching to Wayland display." I saw online it seemed to be a gtk error with solutions being of this flavor: https://forums.opensuse.org/t/gdk-message-error-71-protocol-error-dispatching-to-wayland-display/178886. I tried the various versions of this solution but nothing worked so I wanted to ask here if anyone was in my situation. My nvidia drivers are version 4.6.0 NVIDIA 590.48.01 for reference. I'm still new to linux so if theres anything more that would make it easier to help troubleshoot/better place to ask please let me know! Thanks in advance.
